Our service agreement and policies

Service Agreement

By booking our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your cleaning needs
  • Grant access to your property at the scheduled time
  • Pay for services as agreed upon completion
  • Communicate any special requirements or concerns
  • Inform us of any delicate or specialty surfaces in your home (e.g., natural stone, marble, unsealed wood, antique finishes) that may require special care
  • Allow us to contact you via phone, text, or email regarding your service

Our Commitment

We commit to:

  • Arrive within the scheduled time window
  • Provide quality cleaning services
  • Use our own professional-grade, eco-friendly cleaning products and equipment
  • Respect your property and privacy
  • Carry appropriate insurance coverage
  • Communicate clearly about any service changes

Service Limitations

Our services do not include:

  • Moving heavy furniture
  • Cleaning biohazardous materials
  • Exterior window cleaning above ground level
  • Pest control services
  • Repairs or maintenance work (unless specifically booked as handyman service)

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept:

  • Credit and debit cards
  • Zelle payments
  • Cash (for regular customers)

No upfront payment is required. We charge only after you're satisfied with the service.

Cleaning Products and Supplies

Our team arrives with all necessary cleaning products and equipment. For your protection:

  • Our cleaners use only company-approved, professional-grade products
  • We do not use customer-supplied cleaning products unless explicitly requested and approved in writing
  • If you have preferences or concerns about specific products (allergies, sensitivities, or surface-specific requirements), please let us know when booking
  • Customers with specialty surfaces (natural stone, marble, granite, unsealed wood) should inform us prior to service so we can ensure the appropriate products are used

Liability and Insurance

Pine Maids is fully insured and bonded. Our liability policy:

  • We carry general liability insurance covering accidental property damage that occurs during normal cleaning operations
  • Any damages must be reported within 24 hours of service completion with supporting photos
  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or conditions that were present before our service
  • We are not responsible for damage to items or surfaces that were not disclosed as requiring special care (e.g., delicate materials, antiques, or specialty finishes)
  • Claims are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and resolved in a timely manner
